SIPLink

SIPLink utilizes highly compressed g729, iLBC, GSM codecs ensuring high voice quality even for low speed internet links. The SIPlink is offered as a part of the VoipSwitch Main Package and is royaltee-free. VoipSwitch’s customers are allowed to distribute it freely to their endusers. SIPLink is also offered as a standalone application to work with 3rd party VoIP systems.  The main characteristics of SIPLink are:

  • embedded VoIP Tunnel proprietary technology for making and receiving calls from behind VoIP blockades/firewalls, for example in countries where voice over IP is banned
  • real-time information on the current connection status
  • Phone directory stored on a server (or locally if required), accessible directly from the SIPLink interface, also integrated with customer web portal interface
  • Information on the actual account balance
  • Information on the maximum duration for the call
  • connection timer
  • recent calls list
  • check rate button (quick information about the rate for entered phone number)
  • quick access to last dialed phone numbers
  • speed dial (favorites) support, enduser can associate shortcuts with phone book entries
  • direct link to the web page containing calls history information (without having to log in to the web)
  • volume control
  • audio wizard
  • hold option - switching between connected lines
  • call forwarding
  • mute option
  • support for two voice channels (lines)
  • additional buttons that can be linked to external URLs
  • option for setting an animated gif to be displayed on the phone interface (the gif is being downloaded from a specified URL every time the user logs in)
