How to configure a simple callback scenario

1.     DID provider configuration.

To configure DID provider it's necessary to create GW client with authorized IP address.

To create GW client open VSM and Clients -> GW Clients section.

Properties available for GW client:

-         Login is username for this account.

-         Password assign for this account.

-         DID source allows to charge clients answering calls.

-         PIN source option is used for calls made to IVR system.

-         SIM source

-         Calls Limit used to limit number of concurrent calls being send from gateway.

Supported codecs

Allows the selection of 9 codecs groups depending on what client device can support.
One codec has to be set as primary and it will be the default codec.

IP address based authorization  

IP numbers are the list with authorized IP addresses.

Under the IP numbers list there is a field where to write the new addresses to be added in the list. Use the Add IP button after you fill it.
To remove an IP from the list select it first and then click Remove IP.
It is possible to add ip addresses in range. After clicking Add Range button the dialog as on screen below will appear.

2.     Setting numbers in Dialing plan.

Second step is adding numbers to the Dialing plan.

Select Dialing Plan section of  VSM.

Enter new number to the Number field and select Voipbox from Destination section.

Select from Dialog option "Select language + Ask for number + time" .

Click OK and Add new button.

To add another number for example 10333 for PIN authorisation when  client calls from an unauthorised number follow the same steps choose only another option from Dialog.

After this operations numbers are added to Dialing plan.

3.     Callback configuration in VSM.

Go to Settings -> CallBack -> Regular CallBack section in VSM.

In section Ani callback and PIN callback enter earlier created numbers to IVR numbers fields.

In section DID callback  define:

         Dialing plan prefix - All target numbers defined for clients must start with this prefix

         IVR number - clients will be connected with this number (number 888 is entered in the dialing plan).

To assign the activating numbers and the numbers to which the callback will be executed for individual clients click  "Clients DID numbers" button.

Next select Client type and choose login to which add a DID number. After than enter the number and click Add and OK button.

4.     Restart Calls Reader Service.

To restart "Calls Reader Service":

-         Go right click on My Computer -> Manage ->  Services and Applications ->Services

-         Find in services list "Calls Reader Service", mark it and click restart service.
