1. How to uninstall the VSM
1) Close the VSM application
2) Zip the VSM folder
3) Copy it to backup folder like "20081015"
5) Make database backup.
6) Uninstall the VSM application from Add/Remove Programs
- Go to Start - > Control panel - > Add/Remove Programs(1.)
- Find the VSM in Add/remove programs(1.) and uninstall it(2.)
2. How to install the VSM
1) Run the VSM installer(1.) and click the "Next" button(2.)
2) Chose the destination folder(1.) and click the "Next" button(2.)
3) There is a possibility to Launch the VSM after installation(1.). Click the "Next" button(2.)
4) Click "Next" button(1.) to begin install.
5) After installation click the "Close" button(1.)

3. How to check the conection to database and how to update and validate voipswitch database.
1) Open VSM and go to "Database settings"(1.)
2) Check the databse settings:
- Put the MySql/MSSql database settings(1.)
- Click on the "Test connection and accessibility" button(2.)
- If the settings are ok You will see the message(3.)
3) Click the "Update" button(1.) the update of database will begin. After finishing update click the "close" button(2.)
5) Click the "Validate" button(1.) the validate of database will begin. After finishing update click the "close" button(2.)

4. How to check the ODBC error in VSM
1) If after opening VSM this error will appear just click on "OK" button(1.)
2) Next step is to click on "YES" button(1.)
3) Check the databse settings:
- Put the MySql/MSSql database settings(1.)
- Click on the "Test connection and accessibility" button(2.)
- If the settings are ok You will see the message(3.)
4)If the settings are good the voipswitch administrator can now update and validate database.
- If the voipswitch database is not created You will see an security message
If You want to create a new Voipswitch database just click the "YES" button(1.).
- Now a security message will appear(1.), after clicking the "Yes" button(2.) the voipswitch database will be crated.
- After creating the databse just click the "Close" button.
- Now there is a possibility to update and validate the databse like in point 3
