There are couple of things you have to realize if you want to configure GK/Registrar/Common clients to use Voipbox PIN+ scenario.
Usually if you configured common client to use PIN+sth you get error like this:
There are two possibilities to properly setup that in the VSM: 1. Duplicate common client record in gateway clients. 2. Add a loopback gateway and use prefixes - more elegant and flexible solution but a little bit complicated.
First solution:
Let's assume you have a common client and you want to give him PIN+ scenario
IF you have new version of VSM (1.13.9 and higher) Add a gateway client with the same name and password and remember to select "Recognize by H323 ID" option and skip next steps
OR Simply add a gateway client with the same name and a little bit different password (why? - it'll be explained below)
now change password via "MySQL Command Line" or "MySQL GUI"
you cannot do it by VSM because you'll get a following error:

advantages
quick and simple

disadvantages
gateway client account is charged, every common client which want to use that solution must have duplicated account in gateway clients

Second solution:
Add a gateway - it'll be loopback gateway with the same ip address as voipswitch is listening on (remember to choose all needed codecs)
and add a gateway client with: 1. the same login/password as the gateway 2. dialing plan prefix for PIN+ scenario 3. a tariff which won't debit VPS by itself. Also add $1 in "Funds and Tariff" - to prevent voipswitch from disconnecting calls with message "You have 0 ballance on your account"
Now add tariff and dialing plan for loopback gateway:
