Multi tenant hosted platform
The IP PBX is intented for whole range of enterprises from individuals running own business to small companies with several employees to corporations with remote branches and advanced organizational structure. Each company can have own account in the system. There is no limits in the software in number of companies sharing the same platform. Each company is an separate entity with own virtual PBX which can be accessed and managed through web interface.
The main user whose account is associated with the company (the main account) is later reffered as PBXadmin account. The administration provilages are granted for only PBX belonging to specific company, not to the whole platform which is managed by Voipswitch Admin (later reffered as VPSAdmin).
PBXAdmin can create subaccounts for the personnel of the company. Users can then log in to the web interface (PBXPortal) and manage account's settings to the extent defined by PBXadmin. All costs of calls made by users are borne by the main company's account.

8.6. Worldwide virtual presence scenario using DIDs
Virtual presence is a service offered mainly to business customers which need local phone numbers in different cities, usually where they provide operations or want to sell products and receive phone orders but do not have a physical presence in given country or region. The easiest way for them is to rent virtual phone numbers and receive incoming calls on their SIP equipment or optionally have them forwarded to their PBX or regular PSTN phones.

The service can be easily offered on Voipswitch's IP PBX hosted platform in connection with DIDx.net services. The endusers - in this case corporate clients, can have a PBX account with subaccounts for extensions. From the main account level the admin can order online phone numbers and desired number of channels from dozens of the countries and regions or cities which are offered by DIDx. Each number can be then hooked to a different scenario welcoming callers in different languages (assigned to particular DID). Thus the company can make an impression that operates globally. Also, it is a big saving for customers as they can now call locally and be connected with a company in a different country.
In addition the PBX can be divided on branches which can be also supplied with DIDs from their physical location which allow to keep the whole structure based on IP and managed thru one provider. The numbers can be also added to the endusers (extensions) of the PBX, each use can have own phone number or many phone numbers.
Other very demanded PBX service is so called Call forwarding which allows to direct the incoming calls to any other number (for exmaple mobile, landline or voicemail). The rules can be set for each DID separately and moreover they can differ depending on the call event (buys, no answer) or the caller ID or the calling party which is an unique service introducing immense flexibility. Users can decide what will happen with the incoming call depending on who is calling.
