Hardware-based RAID is an optional service available that can help protect the data that you have on your dedicated server. RAID involves having more than one hard drive installed, and one of the most popular levels is RAID-1. For more details on the available levels of RAID and the monthly price please either contact your PingPipe sales representative, or open a support ticket from your myPingPipe.com client portal.

The best time to get RAID setup on your dedicated server is when you initially place your order. Although it is possible to add RAID to an existing dedicated server, once the operating system has been loaded a reformat is needed if RAID is added afterwards.
